ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Meet and greet all guests and potential guests, at the front of the Restaurant by ensuring the following:

Ensure the restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards

Maintaining impeccable uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with restaurant policy

Welcoming guests to the Restaurant, by using the Restaurant name

Inquiring if they have a reservation and noting it in the reservation book if they do

Creating a reservation for them with their dining preferences if they do not and noting it in the reservation book

Being attentive to guest requests

o Escort guests to their preferred table or reserved table and seat guests according to restaurant standards.

o Take telephone bookings and document in the Reservation book according to restaurant standards.

o Be attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to your Supervisor.

o Maintain responsibility of cleanliness of hostess stations.

o Maintain responsibility of cleanliness of all menus.

o Assist with food and beverage service.

o Maintain detailed knowledge of menu, including daily specials.

o Ensure tables are cleared quietly and efficiently.

o Carry food and beverage trays when required in a safe manner to minimize breakages.

o Maintain current information on all general activities of the restaurant.

KNOWLEDGE

o Customer Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

o English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

o Computers Knowledge of computer and POS software.

On December 1, 2008, deGustibus Hospitality reached yet another culinary milestone with the launch of Moveable Feast, a full service, multi-cuisine catering outfit which is destined to become Mumbai�s premier catering company in the near future.


Now, on this steadfast path of growth and expansion, we have opened the doors of yet another unprecedented restaurant � Neel. Located at Tote on the Turf, Mahalakmi Racecourse, Neel is our first Nawabi Cuisine restaurant that reinforces Rahul Akekar�s belief in presenting a tasteful blend of flavours, textures and colours to create a sensational gustatory experience.
