Designation Sr Actimize Developer - AVP Job Description Main Duties Work with Project manager, business and data analysts to evaluate existing Actimize RCM and AIS code, and Unix/Perl scripts. Get good understanding of the current environment and put robust processes related to data controls, quality, database maintenance, support, and performance of database objects. Understand business flow and analyze business and control gaps based on data analysis. Will implement good design, coding and implementation practices for objects interacting with databases. Communicate and closely work with the business and development leads for code and data certification Work with offshore/Onsite development team Develop AIS/Java code as per the business needs Create documentation for developed code Discuss requirements and testing details with other teams (CCM, QA etc) Desired Profile Experience and Aptitude required: Qualification / Education Required: Minimum Bachelors Degree from a recognized 4 year college or university. Experience Required : Experience with Actimize Tools such as Modeler, Designer, AIS and RCM Experience with Actimize DART, Dash boards, Forms design and implementation Experience in SQL server and Oracle. Experience in UNIX, Autosys, and Java. Quick learner; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to attend many tasks simultaneously, with frequently changing priorities. Must be independent and creative in approach to problems and issues and proactive. Extremely organized, excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in documenting code releases. Worked on AIS 4.x for at least 2 years Working knowledge of RCM functionalities Experience in the following: Software design Database systems: SQL Server / RDBMS System interfaces: web services, message queuing Web architecture: web servers & application servers System performance analysis and troubleshooting Excellent writing skills proven experience in writing architecture documents and diagrams. Excellent communication and presentation skills Team Oriented approach Minimum 3+ years of experience on Actimize Platform Highly self-motivated with a confident do the right thing attitude. Able to multi-task and prioritize a demanding and varied workload. Excellent attention to detail. Work long hours when required, to communicate with groups in other regions. Ability to identify, appropriately escalate issues & risks & consider solutions. Experience Preferred : Experience in Actimize tools ( AIS , RCM Designer , RCM Case Manager) Experience with model development using AIS 4.x Experience in Actimize SAM packages including Data mart mappings Experience of working with the Compliance function within an Investment Bank. Strong IT skills and background, especially in the financial services industry; comfortable with computer based tools, processes and workflows. Experience in Fixed Income business. Experience in Application servers like Weblogic, Tomcat Experience in XML and XSL usage in Actimize RCM and models Experience in Java Technologies like Spring, Ajax, Hibernate and MQ Experience with Mantas and Business Objects a plus. Skills/Aptitude Required: Minimum 3+ years of experience on Actimize Platform Prior experience with Actimize RCM and AIS. Prior experience with development/implementation at a major brokerage firm. Must have experience in designing and developing highly scalable systems that will handle very large volumes of data globally. Demonstrated ability to communicate with business analysts/data analysts and technology teams.
