No of vacancies: 128 (One Hundred Twenty Eight) posts of Food and Sanitary Inspector Health Services, Nature of Post : Permanent/non Gazetted/Pension as per rules. Reservation- 66 Posts Unreserved, 17 posts for Scheduled Castes, 07 Posts for Scheduled tribes & 38 Posts for other Backward Caste of U.P. are Reserved. Horizontal reservation as per Rules. (Deptt. No. S-10/15) Pay Scale - Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-. Qualification- (i) Degree in food Technology/Dairy Technology/Bio-Technology/Oil Technology/Agriculture Science/Veterinary Science/Bio-Chemistry/Micro-Biology From recongnized University Or post graduate in chemistry Or / Degree in Medicine. Or (ii) Any other equivalent/recongnized eligibility notified by Central Government. Or (iii) Successfully completed training under any Organization or Institution as specified by the Food authority. Preferential Qualifications: A candidate (1) Who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Or (2) Who has obtained a "B" certified of the National Cadet Corps, shall other things being equal be given preference in matter of direct recruitment to the Centralized services. Age: 21 to 40 years. Relaxation in Upper age limit for Employees of U.P. Government and reserved category candidates will be admissible as per rules. Provided that-In case of a person, who has already rendered one year's service or more in any of the Centralised services or in the Palika the maximum age limit shall be greater to the extent, he has rendered continuous service or a period of seven years, which ever is less.
