PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Role: To provide Reservoir Engineering support for Production and Development of assets & projects through the delivery of high quality, cost beneficial Well Technology studies
We are looking for a Production Technologist to join our technical team based in Noida. Within our multi-disciplinary exploration and production team you will be required to provide support to G&G and PE functions. You will also be required to provide a wide range of integrated services.
Educational Qualification Essential: Graduate in Petroleum Engineering
Work Experience Required (In yrs.) Around 5-8 years experience in the domain. Preferably worked primarily with Pvt JVs (MNC or Indian)
Skills Good working knowledge of Geology, Geophysics, RE & PE desirable.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualitative & Quantitative Responsible for providing reservoir engineering services to effectively exploit the companys reserves and maximize production.
Handson experience in reservoir modelling studies, define future development opportunities and reserves potential.
Responsible for Reserve Estimates reports & audit.
Act as a technical expert in implementation of approved plans for appraisal and development of the reservoirs.
Handson experience in preparing dynamic reservoir models
Provide support on type of well required in different kind of reservoirs to optimize productivities
Participate in formulate production policies.
Responsible for surveillance plans, including design, managing data from bottom hole surveys, sampling & SCAL.
Validate & advise on designing well locations, optimizing well profiles, estimating production availability.
Provide technical Reservoir Engineering support to drilling, production, exploration and project departments.
Maintain the project learning database (for reservoir engineering issues).
Quality assurance and quality control issues.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (Technical & Behavioral)
a.
Technical Software Exposure: Basic Reservoir engineering softwares like Eclispe, VIP, MBal, Saphir, Petrel etc.
Around 5-8 years of experience in
a) Classical Reservoir Engineering
b) Pressure Transient Analysis
c) Reserves Estimation
d) Reservoir Modeling
e) IOR / EOR including water flooding
f) Field Development
Understanding of basic concepts of Geology & Geophyscis is preferred.
b. Behavioral Should have strong analytical and communication skills; Effective and straight forward communicator and friendly personality, good at listening; Fluent in written and verbal technical English
Advanced multi-tasking capabilities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment. Should be able to build and maintain relationships effectively
Respond well to pressure, prioritize and deliver effectively to deadlines. Be available to work extended hours from time to time during critical periods, and have a proactive attitude toward providing assistance and support
Lateral thinker with very well developed intellect; should also have the aptitude to quickly grasp new concepts and software. Ability to influence and present effective arguments.
