Position: Sr Developer / Technical Lead / Associate Technical Architect / Technical Architect
The MSBI works as a consulting team member, leader or an individual technical consultant on for-fee product creation, enhancement, or integration projects. Expertise and work efforts focus on the design and development of systems for client implementations, both independently and collaboratively. The MSBI Dev will assist with the development of requirements and cost/schedule estimation, create technical specifications, and deliver stable and customer-ready applications for unit and system testing. The SSAS Developer will also serve as pre-sales support specialist and provide support to lower level consultants with regard to projects when needed.
5 to 8 years
* Hands on experience on: SSAS (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services) , SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services and MDX programming
* MDX Programming / Queries good to have ,
* Good to have SSIS and SSRS experience ,
* Good T-SQL programming experience ,and should be good at SQL programming ,
* Coding/trouble shooting skills,
* Understanding of data warehouse design & architecture and implementation ,
* Should Have good design skills on dimensional modeling .
* Very good communication skills.
8- 15 yrs
* Very sound understanding and expertise on MS BI Products (SSRS,SSAS, SSIS and SQL Server 2008)
* Strong in Cube designing and MDX queries.
* Very good understanding of Database Query Performance Tuning and Optimization
* Strong implementation experience on executing MSBI projects end-to-end for at least 2 projects
* In depth understanding of how metadata works from the access application to the end user and prior experience with end user data access layers within a data warehouse architecture.
* Your ability to provide technical leadership. Passion to work. Excellent communication skills.
* Your ability to own responsibilities, lead the team and successfully deliver to the deadline.
* Sound concepts on data warehouse terminologies and scenario based warehouse design.
* Excellent communication, going the extra mile and being a team player earn extra brownie points.
