Marketing Strategy:

Understand the space the Company operates in, various offerings of the Company and target customer groups to create a strong unique brand image in the market

Plan and implement marketing strategy, including advertising and PR based on the mission, objectives of the Company, various offerings, target customer groups etc

Introduce processes and controls to ensure efficient functioning of the marketing department

Contribute to new business development by assessing strategic fit to the brand image, target customer groups etc.

Appraise the prevalent market scenario in terms of competitive movements and accordingly implement strategies

Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, and protect and develop the company's brands via suitable PR activities and intellectual property management

Analyze marketing trends and track competitors activities

Spearhead the entire spectrum of marketing activities and ensure optimum product penetration and reach

Exploring business potential, opportunities & clientele to secure profitable business volumes

Managing & controlling the annual marketing budget

Take care of Trade Mark & Copy Rights etc


Brand Management:


Building brand focus in conjunction with operational requirements; ensuring maximum brand visibility and capturing optimum market shares

Selecting direct appropriate media for advertising / creation of communication strategy, new product launches, campaigns, establish alliances with key media intermediaries & agencies.

Plan and implement new promotional strategies like participating in exhibitions, marketing fairs, customer meets, etc. as a part of market development and brand building effort

Developing Brand and Product communications through focus on target audience and relevant consumer insight

Identify sales need along with the Business / Sales team and develop trade / consumer promotional campaigns to enhance business goal

Acquaintance to new product launch/s and market research

Managing and coordinating the Advertising agency and other external vendors and partners

Undertaking quality audits on the execution of all promotions in order to maintain the set standards of execution and ROI

Market Identification Penetration

Cross promotions development

Brand development SBU & profitability Management

Overseeing Direct Marketing, Promotions and events (BTL)

Carrying out all the promotions as well as lead generation - SMS, DM, Web Campaigns, Referrals, eDM and other related communication

Marketing communication:


Learn about organizations products and services capabilities and keeping up to date with changes to offer best solutions to clients

Build an edge over developments in customer service by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending courses

Engage with sales teams (national / international) to market and drive usage of products and services across their networks

Establishing marketing strategies and develop campaigns for specific customer acquisitions

Understand, anticipate and strategically act on consumer usage trends to attract and retain consumers

Manage relationships with key partners to maximize marketing communications exposure and value for money

Create, manage and update corporate presentations, product brochures, company web sites and other marketing materials in line with brand image, company philosophy

Work with Vertical Heads to increase effectiveness and ensure campaigns are kept on schedule

Manage internal and external communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities

Business Operations Management Pre-press/printing management

Overall responsibility for the branding, imaging, product content etc for the companys Website


Product Strategy:


Product strategy and roadmap for Value Added Services for Home & Business customers

Creation of VAS bundled tariff plans

Inputs to content team / partners to create special offers / bundles

Create plan for festive / seasonal / special campaigns

Inputs to communication team / creative / web agency

Drive penetration and usage of value added services

Coordination across partners, communication team & regions

Manage Product Roadmap and periodical alignment within Product

Ensure Go-to-Market readiness and Business Operational Readiness for new business areas

Manage communication to circles and monitor circles readiness for product execution

Monitor and provide improvements for product

Product roadmap, portfolio mix and periodical alignment



Person should be an MBA from premier institute with minimum of 15+ years of experience

Preferable from banking sector with good knowledge in VAS, PRODUCTS

Deep understanding of segmentation, value-based pricing and product development

Create, produce and manage various National level Marketing Initiatives and Teams

Should possess excellent understanding of International and Domestic Market and competition

Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills with exceptional competence in carrying out complete planning & execution of Business Development, Brand, Promotions, Channel and Processes

Comprehensive exposure in handling marketing communication

Should be Skilled in developing strong business relationships with customers

Skills in leading diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success in highly competitive and aggressive environments

Abilities in synergizing operations to facilitate organizational growth, institution-building and to strengthen organizational culture through involved and motivated leadership
