Product Management Head, 20 - 25 years exp, Chennai, Mumbai

Product Evangelization:
The position will lead new product definition and business plans with joint departments, managing and reporting on a shared vision between the organizations.

Engage technical communities via speaking engagements, webcasts, developer forums, and blogs.

Develop compelling technical content that crystallize key messages via contributed articles, white papers, and contents for FSS products

Support the FSS Sales and Channels organization during customer meetings, architectural meetings, and proof of concepts.

Will provide input on the high-level product strategy and roadmap development.

Experience leading the market analysis function: competitive analysis, market sizing, TCO analyses, etc.

Product Strategy:
Actively participate in gathering and confirming common understanding of requirements for target Segment needs. Identify and represent subject

Development of appropriate sales and solution consulting collateral and the development of appropriate go to market strategies and campaigns while providing the highest level of escalation for payments operations expertise.

In collaboration with Product Marketing, oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify internal and external customer needs related to particular Segment needs. This includes identifying winning positioning and results that can lead to breakthrough innovation while providing the highest level of escalation for Segment / Vertical expertise.

Gather and analyze feedback from sales, business management, content marketing, development, our customers, and the market

Perform competitive analysis including feature comparisons, pricing, promotion activities collected from primary and secondary sources

This position is responsible for managing the strategy for integration to the core platform. The role will evaluate vertical extension using an organic and inorganic strategy

Will drive his team to provide support to Product Engineering Group

Business Requirement docs for a Product Version directions (jointly with Business Analysts in PEG)

Technology & Usability directions (jointly with PEG Head, Business Analysts in PEG)

Approve FSD / SRS

Documentation User Manual

This position will also be responsible for setting up a Training Division to manage the product training to the new-comers and to the end-customers.


Product Alliances:
Identify partners in the space and work with business development teams to connect our vision with those partners

Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of our products (e.g. creation of sales collateral, web content, presentations, whitepapers and other high-quality content).


Product Release & Roadmap:
Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

Become an expert on other products in the marketplace

Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company

Research and document product requirements and roadmaps with prioritized themes, features and fixes

Develop the product value proposition and messaging strategy and execution approach to differentiate our products in the market.


Customer Advocacy:
Achieve companys strategic goals and measured through customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability

Leading the processes for Roadmap Definition and Management, Requirements Management, Market Analysis, Field enablement, Field & customer analysis and input. The position is one of leadership with direct interaction with the executive team on a daily basis

Deep understanding of competitive financial products, IT data center operations, applications, work flows, architectures and trends

Work closely with support and documentation to review key support assets such as training materials, product documentation, and product communications

Presale and Post implementation support and feed back


The leader will own the product P&L, strategy, requirements and go to market plans.



Position Requirements:
20+ yrs experience in Product Management/Marketing of software products

Experience with agile development processes and monthly product release cycles

Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, cross-functional teams, customers, and third-party partners

Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, startup attitude

Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects

Very strong verbal and written communication skills

Willing to travel periodically.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Tech and/or MBA, CA, MCA .
