CALL FOR APPLICATION

ONGC Energy Centre (OEC) has been set up by ONGC Energy Centre Trust for undertaking/ supporting research in renewable and alternate energy sources beyond hydrocarbons, which can be developed and demonstrated for commercialization. OEC has been implementing Research Projects in several new and alternative sources of energy for the last several years. These Projects are in advanced stages of implementation, in collaboration with various national and international academic, research and industrial organizations. The ongoing projects relate to exploration of uranium, geothermal energy, hydrogen generation by thermochemical processes, bioconversion of coal or oil to methane gas, solar thermal dish Stirling engine, kinetic hydro power, etc… OEC is also in the process of preparing a Perspective Plan for the Centre for period up to 2030. As a part of this initiative, various exciting new initiatives are being evaluated, with a view to expanding the research and technology development activities, as well as to consolidate the ongoing efforts of OEC.
