My client is a leading European based engineering house, with a global footprint and an urgent need to speak to senior commercially orientated individuals regarding a Regional Sales Managers position, based out of Houston. Focussing on the Gulf of Mexico, the successful individual will have a proven track record and an outstanding network of contacts within ALL of the following highly regulated industries - Gas, Oil, Chemical & Pharma and be an expert in Valves, Controls, Automation.
You will be responsible for the area strategy, ensuring both growth of new business and key accounts, be experienced with budgeting and forecasting, project pursuit, identifying potential acquisitions/gaps in the market and be as technically outstanding as you are commercially. Ideally you will be degree qualified with a heavy bias towards an engineering discipline, have 5+ years technical sales experience and also have 2 or 3 years Application/Product knowledge.
This opportunity will require some travel throughout the Gulf region and occasionally outside the region. The successful individual will be part of the Global Energy Team and reports into the Vice President of Sales.
