Pay scale:
Rs. 37400-67000 Rs. 10000 (AGP) Total emoluments excluding T.A. HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 95000 /-p.m. approximately)
Age:
Not exceeding 50 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 53 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Qualifications:
A. EDUCATIONAL
(i) Ph. D Degree with the first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
(ii) Ten years experience in teaching/industry/research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and /or equivalent.
For candidates from Industry and profession
Master’s degree in Electronics Communication Engineering with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph. D degree and with 10 years industrial/professional experience of which at lease 5 years should be at a senior level comparable to that of Professor would also be eligible.
Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
DESIRABLE Administrative experience in a responsible position.

Duty(ies):
He/She will be required to conduct classes develop curriculum, prepare learning resource material, student guidance and counselling and assist students in Laboratory work. Besides, he/she will be required to work in the area of research and consultancies as well as administrative duties as required by the Principal.
Probation: One Year.
