Communications Officer- Branding and Communications, 3 - 8 years exp, Mumbai

Its regarding an opportunity for an NGO based in Mumbai.


Position holder will be having following responsibilities given below:


Key Responsibilities

1. To actively co-ordinate the implementation of a media and communications Strategy for event:

Establish and maintain contacts with print and electronic media

Write press releases, and other media advisories from time to time for both the national and vernacular media.

Support the event Team in the communications need.

Monitor relevant media coverage and keep abreast of news on developmental issues and sports events.


2. To be the communications focal point for any public enquiry about scheduled events

3. Interact with event participants and gather stories

4. Gather "Brand" Programs related stories and communicate with participants so as to help them in their fundraising

5. Develop event Communication Media/ Materials including powerpoints, e-newsletter, handbook, map book, posters, flyers and any other material as per the need/ communications strategy

6. Develop all communication and branding materials required for pre-event and event and will be responsible for all the brandings during pre-events and events

7. Follow-up on the production of communication materials (e.g., films, video, audio-visual, etc.), and oversee the qualitative aspects of production, (e.g., quality control, translation, review of layouts and graphic design) for events.

8. To provide content for digital, website and social media


Candidate must have related experience of atleast 3 years.

Candidate having experience in NGO is preferred.

Candidate having management degree is preferred.

Must have good communication skills.
