Manage and lead technical officers in providing technical service to the layer farmers situated in their respective areas of operation.
Provide timely advice to the farmers to improve the flock condition
Monitor the prevalence of disease and inform higher authorities/principal about the disease
Formulate field visit plan for the technical officers in order to provide 100% need based visits
Monitor the health of parent flocks by conducting periodical tests on various parent flocks maintained by the company
Attend technical seminars conducted by Principal and prominent professional bodies thereby establishing industry relations that will help in solving our technical problems at times of need. Evaluate the performance of technical officers working under him.
Carry out Budgeting and ensure budgetary compliance
Lead Technical services
Monitoring Hatcheries and Farms
Foster, mentor and develop the team members effectively
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a BVSc or MVSc, preferably in Poultry and with a total relevant experience of 10 to 15 years post qualification. Out of these, a minimum of 5 years should be in Middle Management role. He/ she should have ideally led a team of more than 20 people in the last 3 years.
Location and Reporting Structure
The job is based out of Vijayawada/Visakhapatnam and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Post Mortem
Poultry Management and Farming
Exposure to Lab techniques and findings
Feed Formulations
Disease Diagnosis and treatment
Poultry diseases
Veterinary medicine
Treatment of Broiler and Layer birds, especially Layer birds,
Farm management
Effective Oral and Written communication skills in English
Working knowledge of Telugu is preferred, as interaction with local farmers is required
Effective usage of IT and internet
Excellent leadership skills
