JOB DESCRIPTION OF SITE SAFETY MANAGER

He should have university degree or equivalent with minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in the field of Health, Safety & Environment, as a HSE Manager.

Reports to Project Manager on site operationally and functionally reporting to the HO Safety Manager

He should have internationally recognized certifications, such as NEBOSH; OSHA; IOSH, etc.

Good leadership qualities & Supervisory skills to offer guidance, coaching and supervision to subordinates.

He should be familiar in the development of HSE Plans, HSE Procedures, Risk Assessment, JHAs / AHAs, etc.

Understanding in Root-Cause Analysis for Accidents Investigations at work place.

Compiling statistical data on man hours of a project.

Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
