No of vacancies: 2371 (Two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy One) posts of Allopathic Medical Officer (Carried forward) (Special Recruitment), under Provincial Medical and Health Service cadre Group "B", (Deptt. No. S-8/55), Pay Scale - Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade pay 5400/- and other allowances as per Govt. Rules. Nature of post - Gazetted, Temporary and period of probation - 2 years. Essential Qualification - A candidate for direct recruitment must possess M.B.B.S. degree of a university recognised by Medical Council of India. A Candidate who possess a post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment. In addition to this, it is also necessary to be completed one year rotary internship till the last date of receipt of application form. Preferential Qualification- Other things being equal, such candidates shall be given preferences in the matter of direct recruitment - (1) Who has served in the territorial army for minimum period of two years. Or (2) Who has obtained a "B" certificate of National cadet corps. Age Limit- 21 to 40 years (upper age limit of reserved category candidates shall be relaxable as per rules). Important directions- Candidates must ensure to have all certificate of their claim about age, Essential Qualification, Internship, no objection certificate (if they are in Govt. service.) and prescribed certificate for reservation at the time of applying the application. Simultaneously, the permanent U.P. Medical Council registration certificate is also required. The candidates who do not have the U.P. Medical Council registration certificate, will have to submit the same, if they are selected, within 45 days of the declaration of result. Otherwise their candidature will be rejected.
