The purpose of the programme is to provide Right Kind of Information to the Right People on Right Time using different communication mediums.
The programme links rural communities and knowledge providers through multiple interactive knowledge sharing platforms [audio advisories through mobiles in regional language, audio conferencing programmes between information seekers and experts, interactive help line for information clarification / suggestion, public address system networks, local communication systems, announcements through mobile vehicles, cable TV based live phone-in-programmes and radio based programmes] to address the developmental and livelihood security issues in rural India.
The incumbent will work under the supervision and guidance of and report to the Programme and Content Planning & Strategy Coordinator.
o Coordinating and maintaining various programme and helpline questions and answers
o Providing necessary content tagging for each dissemination content
o Analyzing performance of usage of each content month / season wise
o Regularly doing content audit and separate content as static, dynamic, season wise, livelihood pattern wise and reusable
o Coordinating and monitoring mobile based voice SMS advisories of different thematic areas
o Maintaining the content resource persons / institutions and vendor based content providers database
o Maintaining follow up of programmes publications, media collation and compilation of case studies
o Maintaining major crops, locations of major crops grown, primary information and training needs of those crop growers in programme locations
o Searching and documenting required secondary data for baseline to initiate / expand the programme in various parts of the country
o Coordinating with programme clusters and documenting various content dissemination procedures and methods used
o Collating the various content dissemination plans across all the programme locations
o Analyzing major information needs addressed by the programmes
