The Airbus Group Executive Committee has set-up Global Regional Sourcing Offices (RSO) in Strategic Countries with the objective to further improve Airbus Group Sourcing footprint in these countries. The RSOs report to the Head of Procurement Strategy (PY).
The mission of the RSO shall involve:
- Acting as an agent of change of Airbus Group Global Sourcing footprint
- Supporting Airbus Group Business Units in sourcing from strategic countries
- Supporting Airbus Group Business Units in formulating consolidated global sourcing targets
- Leveraging the impact of existing Airbus Group organizations and competencies as well as synergies/critical mass of Business Units
Airbus Group has year marked India as a strategic country for increasing sourcing footprint.

Senior Manager/Team Lead Manufacturing (Flying Parts)
Mission
Support under direction of Head - India Sourcing Office, flying parts procurement community in their mission towards achieving sourcing footprint in India.
Role & Responsibilities
Prepare and implement strategy to achieve V2020 targets for all flying part commodities.
Managing a team of commodity managers with flying parts Materials, System & Equipment, Cabin & Interior. Additionally Managing Aerostructures as Commodity Manager.
Procurement Marketing (Generate Sourcing demand working with Airbus group procurement teams), Supplier Identification, New Supplier Development
Support Commodity Multi Functional Teams (MFT) in RFX Process with inputs on negotiation, costing & contractual discussions.
Support on Legal & Taxation and Costing to Airbus Central Departments
Support Offset and Industrial Cooperation.
