Direct and manage web development projects from beginning to end
Review project briefs for accuracy and follow-up with stakeholders for clarification as needed
Work closely with the internal team to ensure that the requirements of every project are clear and achievable
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, including preparing cost estimate
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Create capabilities within the team by up scaling the existing resources.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Plan and schedule project timelines; ensure projects are delivered on time and meet their service level agreements
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Required Skills
Excellent English written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate at all levels of the organization and clients
Familiar with web production, web development and operations requirements and experienced with managing project schedules and workflow
Experience with managing online oriented projects, especially development of websites and web portals, partially of flash (banners and sites production) and creative team
Understanding web applications architecture, deployment processes
Qualification in project management or equivalent
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Direct work experience in project management capacity
Proven experience in people management
Proven ability to manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple concurrent projects within assigned cross-functional and international teams. Ability to collaborate with developers, designers, QA resources, team leads, and other stakeholders on project specifics
Proficient in project management software, knowledge of JIRA is a big advantage
Knowledge of web environments and development
Knowledge of Technical background related to websites creation/maintenance: .NET, Java, Oracle, MS SQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery, XML
Experience/knowledge of principles of Content management systems (SiteCore, Teamsite, UMC or any other CMS platform is mandatory.
Good knowledge of principles of SEO
Knowledge of tracking systems like Web trends, Google Analytics or Omniture
Ability to think analytically
Ability to create a roadmap for the vertical and work on it to take it to the next level
